Following up on my last review from 2 years ago. Even better than I remembered it.
This time tried the Miso Black Cod - Heaven!!!!!!!
Falls apart, melts in your mouth.
Drunken noodle is always my go to.
Every single time we come to Vegas, the first place we come to is Wazuzu!!!!
Ah-maxing Asian food. A collection of Chinese, Japanese and Thai, every dish was delicious!!!
Everything can be ordered to share:
Drunken Noodles w/Chicken - Amazing!
Pad Thai w/Shrimp - Quite spicy but delicious
Mongolian Beef - Very good with grilled veggies
Crispy Brussels Sprouts - Crispy char with a sweet glaze
Pot Stickers - Very good
Sweet and Sour - Decent
Tonkotsu Ramen - Very good
Yellowtail Roll - Just average. Nothing special about it
Make sure if you eat here during the day in the Summer, men can't wear cut off sleeves. They won't be let inside.
Great spot for a quick lunch or dinner while at Encore or Wynn.
Dr. Young saved me!!!!!!
I had terrible terrible shin splints. I couldn't walk for a week. After only 2 sessions, I was finally able to walk.
She was my miracle.
So many of my family members have gone to her for different ailments and she's helped them all.
She truly knows her craft and she's so sweet. I would recommend her to everyone!!
Great spot in Woodland Hills for a casual breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Ordered the following:
Steak Sandwich
Roasted Vegetable Panini
Hummus Pita
Portobello Fries
Kids Burger
Kids Chicken Strips
Latte
Everything was delicious. Must try the the Portobello Fries!!!
However, a piece of the steak was inedible. It was chewy cartilage or something that could not be eaten.
When we showed it to the waitress, she didn't even offer to take it off the bill (which is usually what's courteous to do). This is why I'm giving this place 4 stars.
Loved the casual setting outdoors, which I prefer over the indoors space.
Located in the cozy Blue Jay neighborhood of Lake Arrowhead, this is probably the best restaurant you'll find up here.
The reason for the 4 Stars and not 5 is for two reasons.
1. The hot food came out cold.
2. They basically asked us to leave because another party was waiting. It was a bit rude. We spent quite of money and would have expected kinder service when it came to our time there. Never been hurried out of a restaurant like that. It was very rude!!!
Luckily for them, the food was so good and the server was so kind that it deserves a 4 Star rating.
All the food we tried was absolutely delicious.
Here's what we had:
Bruschetta -
Best I've ever had.
Arugula Caprese & Burrata -
Large and shareable. Very good!
Spaghetti Cacio e pepe -
Very good but expect it to be salty because of the aged cheese.
Bronzino Special -
Incredible. If they have this on the menu, order it. It's a must!
Lamp Chop Special -
Marinated in red wine, delicious. Although the meat was served cold.
Tiramisu Flambé -
Delicious
Chocolate Mosaic Cake -
Also very good
The secret to their food is the imported Olive Oil from Puglia. Just incredible.
They have a great selection of wines as well.
I have to say our server was great. Patrick was very welcoming, I would imagine it would be just as if we walked into a restaurant in Puglia. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel like family.
From the outside it looks like Arrowhead. Inside you're transported to Puglia, Italy where the owner and chef are authentically from Puglia.
Will be coming back next time we're in the area. Hopefully they won't kick us out again.
I really wanted to love this place. I know the chef and love his creations. But felt like the food needs a little polishing.
Ordered the following:
Zaatar and Friends
Vaccino Coffee
The Zaatar sandwich
- It was good. Fresh with the mint. But it was soooooo overpowered with all that cucumber, I couldn't even taste the zaatar.
Plus the sandwich completely fell apart. After it fell apart, the water from the cucumbers over-soaked the little bag the sandwich was in and it dripped all over my pants.
Epic fail.
Vaccino Coffee -
Omg sooooo sweet. Too sweet. Overpowered with the hazelnut essence.
Won't be ordering this one again.
I will try it one more time and order something different and hopefully it will be a better experience. At which point I'll be happy to update my review to support this artist if a chef.
But the cafe itself is super cute and trendy with their yellow motif. Even the coffee cups are yellow. Very cool new age design, located on Ventura Blvd.
